Project Overview

A cloud-native SaaS inventory and multi-warehouse management platform engineered for small-to-medium retail brands, wholesale distributors, and fulfillment operators.

Key Challenges & Objectives

Growing retail brands struggle with stockouts, fragmented warehouse locations, and outdated inventory counts. The system required a real-time tracking engine, barcode scanning support, and automated reorder triggers.

Architecture & Implementation

Built using Next.js App Router, TypeScript, Supabase (PostgreSQL with Row Level Security), Tailwind CSS, and TanStack Table for high-performance rendering of tens of thousands of SKU rows.

Core Features & Deliverables

  • Multi-Location Warehouse Tracking: Real-time visibility into stock counts across physical stores, central warehouses, and transit bins.
  • Barcode & QR Scanner Integration: Mobile-friendly barcode scanning for rapid stock receiving, picking, and inventory cycle counting.
  • Automated Reorder Alerts: Dynamic safety stock alerts triggering automated purchase order drafts when inventory dips below minimum thresholds.
  • Profit Margin & COGS Analytics: Comprehensive reporting calculating Cost of Goods Sold, gross margins, and dead-stock depreciation.

Business Impact & Results

Saved merchant teams an average of 14 hours per week on physical inventory reconciliation, reducing stockout incidents by 40% in the first quarter of deployment.
